My STORY & PHILOSOPHY

Hello!  I'm Joel Gardner, an experimental abstract artist who uses chemistry to create vibrant, one-of-a-kind works of art. By blending paints, chemicals, and heat, I’ve developed processes that turn chemical reactions into energetic, emotionally charged pieces. Experimentation and exploration is my Creative Process!  —it’s now ,also, a way for me to inspire and connect with others.

I’m a self-taught artist, but art has always been a part of my life. My home is like a gallery, filled with pieces I’ve collected over the years that continue to inspire me.  Today, my work is featured in hospitals and boutique galleries, where I hope it offers beauty, connection, and meaning to everyone who sees it.

When I’m not in the studio, you can usually find me traveling with my family, exploring the incredible places and cultures that fuel my creativity. At the heart of everything I do is the hope that my art creates a sense of healing and connection, helping others feel exactly what they need when they experience it.
